How big a part will road play in the future of container logistics? At this year's Intermodal Europe conference, which takes place in the Amsterdam RAI, from 27-29 November, speakers will address the role of road in an intermodal transport strategy.
During
the ‘free to attend' conference
sessions taking place on the exhibition
floor, speakers including terminal operators
and logistics company professionals will
directly address the topic of roads within
intermodal logistics operations, with key
sessions examining technological innovations,
sustainability and cost effectiveness.
With over 50 free conference sessions, Intermodal Europe 2012 will present the opportunity for transport, logistics and supply chain professionals to share current industry-specific challenges and solutions from all areas of the supply chain.
“High profile expert speakers will lead the conference sessions, with debate-stimulating topics, focusing on helping businesses to operate their supply chains more efficiently, with reduced costs” explains Sophie Ahmed, Event Director, Intermodal Europe 2012.
A full list of 2012 conference topics and speakers will be announced in September.
“Intermodal
Europe 2012 will be a forum to discuss and
share current challenges, experiences and
developments in the industry, with esteemed
speakers from across the transport and logistics
sector” adds Sophie Ahmed. “It
is an opportunity to network and do business
and we are expecting an excellent turnout
especially following on from the great success
of Intermodal Europe 2011.”
Now in its 36th year, the conference and exhibition is considered one of the most important events in the container shipping calendar, and is attended by all levels of the global supply chain. In addition to improving their industry knowledge, visitors will meet over 100 exhibitors and network with visitors from 100 countries.
